First Tractor's Chairman Steps Down; Hong Kong-Listed Shares Down 5%

Liu Jiguo has resigned as First Tractor's (SHA:601038, HKG:0038) chairman and a director among other roles due to his age, a July 5 filing on the Hong Kong bourse said.

Director Wei Tao has been selected to perform the duties of chairman until a new chairman is named, according to the manufacturer of harvesting machines.

Hong Kong- and China-listed shares of the company closed nearly 6% and 3% lower on Monday.
