Adani Wilmar Clocks 13% Jump in Fiscal Q1 Sales Volume

Adani Wilmar (NSE:AWL, BOM:543458) posted a 13% year-on-year sales volume growth in the fiscal first quarter, led by its food and fast-moving consumer goods business, according to a press release filed with the Indian bourses on Friday.

The company's food and FMCG segment saw a 46% year-on-year rise in sales volume during the quarter ended June 30, supported by its wide distribution network and "strategic bundling and trade schemes."

Adani Wilmar's edible oils business clocked a year-on-year growth of 8% in sales volume, while its industry essentials segment booked an 8% year-on-year decline, the release said.
