Torque Metals Signs Equity Deal to Drill at Paris Gold Project; Shares Jump 8%

Torque Metals (ASX:TOR) signed an equity deal with contractor Topdrill for an upcoming drill program at the Paris gold project in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

As per the deal, the mining firm will pay 50% of drill costs in terms of shares voluntarily escrowed for six months, the filing added.

The 9,000-meter infill and extensional program will follow up on recent drilling which yielded gold mineralization, the filing said.

Shares of Torque Metals jumped 8% in recent trade.
