Triumph New Energy (HKG:1108) forecasts it will swing to a loss of between 46.7 million yuan and 57.3 million yuan in the first half from a profit of 166.9 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The downbeat forecast is attributable to an ongoing decline in photovoltaic glass prices and lower gross profit margin for sales due to changes in supply and demand, the filing said.
