A consortium that includes China State Construction Engineering (SHA:601668) and Saudi Arabia's El Seif Engineering Contracting won the $2.08 billion King Salman Knowledge Zone project in Saudi Arabia, the Chinese company said in a Thursday filing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

The project will include the King Salman University, Capella Hotel, Saudi Royal Museum, King Salman Library, King Salman Cultural Plaza and other cultural buildings.

It has a construction area of ​​about 340,000 square meters.
