GEM Signs Cooperation Deal for Development of Graphene-Enhanced Lithium Iron Phosphate Technology

GEM (SHE:002340), through subsidiary Fu'an Qingmei Energy Materials, agreed to cooperate with two entities regarding the development of graphene-enhanced lithium iron phosphate (manganese) material industrialization technology, according to the company's filing on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

The company tied up with Shenzhen Eigen Equation Graphene Technology and Wuhan Power Battery Regeneration Technology, the Wednesday filing added.

The Chinese battery recycler will provide the raw materials for the technology, while Shenzhen Eigen will manage the technical development and Wuhan Power will handle the production of the technology.
