SRM Contractors (NSE:SRM, BOM:544158) received a contract worth 2.78 billion Indian rupees from National Highway Authority of India for a new road project in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India, according to an Indian bourse filing on Monday.
The work is for the upgrading and strengthening of the Nashri-Chenani section, from the start till 39.1 kilometers, of the National Highway-244 via Patnitop on engineering, construction, procurement mode, the filing said.
Shares of the company rose 4% in recent trade.
