Travelite's Attributable Profit Declines in Fiscal 2024; Shares Up 5%

Travelite (SGX:BCZ) booked an attributable profit to the owners of SG$2.7 million for the year ended March 31, down from an attributable profit of SG$3.4 million in the year-ago period, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Friday.

Earnings per share came in at SG$0.0433 compared with SG$0.0490 in the comparable period.

The retailer of luxury luggage and suitcases booked a revenue of SG$47.1 million, up from SG$46.4 million in the year-ago period. The 1.4% increase in revenue was attributed to more atrium sales and events that resulted in more international travel.

Shares of the company surged nearly 5% in recent trading.
