Dow Jones07-18

0633 GMT - China's major gaming companies likely to have a fruitful 2H, according to Daiwa analyst John Choi in a research note. The gaming pipeline for Tencent Holdings and NetEase in 2H looks solid, with Tencent to release "Need For Speed Mobile" and NetEase to release "Naraka Mobile," the analyst says. Existing games have also performed well recently, the analyst points out. Tencent's "DnF Mobile" remains the highest-grossing game in June, with Daiwa estimating gross revenue of CNY3.2 billion. He adds that NetEase's "Eggy Party" gross revenue was up 38% on month, thanks to its anniversary campaign. The analyst keeps a buy rating on Tencent and NetEase. Tencent's shares are down 0.3% and NetEase shares are 0.1% higher. (tracy.qu@wsj.com)
