DBS Bank, a unit of DBS Group (SGX:D05), will deploy the CSO Assistant, an AI-powered virtual assistant, for its customer service officers in Singapore by end-2024, Singapore Business Review reported Friday.

The tool will transcribe queries and provide real-time solutions, aiming to cut call handling time by up to 20%, the report said.

Pilots showed near 100% accuracy. The assistant will later expand to Taiwan and Hong Kong. DBS is also rolling out over 20 other AI initiatives, including DBS-GPT for content generation, according to the report.
