Public Financial Holdings (HKG:0626) recorded a loss attributable to owners of HK$34.5 million for the six months ended June 30, against a profit of HK$113.8 million for the corresponding period last year, a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.
The company saw a loss per share of HK$0.031 for the reporting period, as compared to earnings per share of HK$0.104 from a year ago period.
The company's net interest income for the six months came in at HK$470.7 million, lower than HK$507.1 million from the same period the previous year.
