Meta Data Plans ADS Ratio Change

MT Newswires Live07-20

Meta Data (AIU) said Friday it plans to change the ratio of its American depositary shares.

Currently, one ADS represents two class A ordinary shares, but the new ratio will be one ADS for every ten class A ordinary shares, the company said.

Meta Data said its class A ordinary shares will remain unchanged and the ADS ratio change will take effect on July 29.

The company's ADS will continue trading on the NYSE under the symbol AIU, and no fractional ADSs will be issued, Meta Data said, adding that instead, fractional entitlements will be sold, with proceeds distributed to ADS holders.
