AML3D Receives Robotic System Upgrade Order; Shares Down 9%

Technology company AML3D (ASX:AL3) secured an order from Century Engineering to convert an AML3D robotic welding system into an ARCEMY metal 3D printing system, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.

The order, worth AU$280,000, requires a conversion of the legacy system to install modern wire-arc additive manufacturing components and the replacement of the software systems with the latest ARCEMY software, the filing said.

The system upgrades are anticipated to be completed in the upcoming quarter, the company said.

AML3D shares fell 9% in midday trading.
