Altium (ASX:ALU) has lodged a copy of orders made by the Supreme Court of New South Wales to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, approving its acquisition by Renesas Electronics NSW, a subsidiary of Tokyo-listed Renesas Electronics Corporation (TYO:6723), via a scheme of arrangement, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The scheme is now legally effective and Altium's shares will be suspended from the ASX at close of trading on Friday. Scheme implementation will occur on August 1, when Altium shareholders will receive AU$68.5 for each share held, the filing stated.
