Singapore Shares Fall 0.5%, Tracking Losses in U.S. Stock-Index Futures -- Market Talk

0114 GMT - Singapore's FTSE Straits Times Index falls 0.5% to 3443.82 in morning trade, tracking losses in U.S. stock-index futures. Earnings from two of the "Magnificent Seven" failed to impress investors, Commerzbank Research analysts say in a research report.Shares of Tesla and Google-parent Alphabet dropped in after-hours trading following their earnings. Among the worst performers on the STI, SATS Ltd. falls 1.55%, Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust sheds 1.5%, and Seatrium is down 1.3%. Meanwhile, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding rises 3.0% and Wilmar International adds 0.3%. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
