BUZZ-Jiangxi Copper climbs after First Quantum's shareholder rights agreement

** Hong Kong shares of Jiangxi Copper climb 1.6% to HK$14.1, on track for biggest one-day pct gain since July 11 and to snap eight consecutive sessions of falls

** Shanghai stock climbs 1.3% to 21.26 yuan

** First Quantum Minerals said on Tuesday Jiangxi Copper will have the right to nominate one person to the Canadian miner's board as it looks to keep its biggest shareholder at arm's length

** First Quantum said it had entered into a new shareholder rights agreement with Jiangxi Copper, which has agreed to a customary standstill restriction, among others

** The Hang Seng Commerce & Industry Index slips 0.7%, the material index eases 0.4% and the Hang Seng Index down 0.6%

** Co's Hong Kong stock up 26.3% YTD, Shanghai shares up 20.6%
