Avantor to Replace Quidel in S&P MidCap 400; Quidel to Replace Hibbett in S&P SmallCap 600

Avantor (AVTR) is replacing Quidel (QDEL) in the S&P MidCap 400, while Quidel will replace Hibbett Sports (HIBB) in the S&P SmallCap 600, effective before Friday's trading opens.

The move is due to JD sports Fashion's pending acquisition of Hibbett, which is expected to close soon.

Additionally, Schneider National (SNDR) will replace US Silica Holdings (SLCA) in the S&P SmallCap 600 effective before Wednesday's trading opens, following Apollo Global Management's (APO) acquisition of Silica Holdings.
