Lightning Minerals Commences Exploration at Brazil Projects

MT Newswires Live07-24

Lightning Minerals (ASX:L1M) commenced exploration at the Caraíbas and Sidrônio lithium projects in Minas Gerais, Brazil, following the completion of a reconnaissance site visit, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.

The exploration program involves geological mapping and surface sampling across the two projects, with a focus on an artisanal site within the Caraíbas Project. The site produced peak pegmatite rock chip assay results, grading up to 0.53% lithium oxide, and strong tantalum, rubidium, and cesium assays, the filing said.

Additionally, the Minas Gerais state geophysical datasets will undergo reprocessing alongside the exploration program due to insufficient resolution for localized structure targeting, the company said.
