MT Newswires Live07-24

Everest Metals (ASX:EMC) said the Edith Cowan University Mineral Recovery Research Centre completed the first phase of Mt Edon rubidium extraction test works, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.

Initial results show technically-viable high recovery of rubidium in a small-scale laboratory setting through direct extraction and support further rubidium purification processing into final products, the company said.

The company plans to release results from ongoing extraction and purification tests in the December quarter, providing data for a scoping study and the construction of a pilot-scale plant, according to the filing.
