Shares of Assure Holdings were trading lower in the after-hours market Tuesday, following a notice that the Nasdaq Stock Market will suspend and delist the company's securities.

After the bell, the shares fell 11% to $2.16. The stock slid to an all-time low of $2.25 in Tuesday's regular session before closing at $2.43.

Nasdaq has determined trading in the company's securities will be suspended at the start of trading on Wednesday, according to the company.

Nasdaq had previously informed the Assure its stock wasn't in compliance with the exchange's bid price requirement, and as of Monday, ruled the company hadn't regained compliance with the rule.

The company said its common stock is expected to begin trading on the OTC Markets system effective with the open of the markets on Wednesday. Assure Holdings plans to submit an application to have shares quoted on the OTCQB as soon as practicable.

Assure provides outsourced interoperative neuromonitoring and remote neurology services.
