Archer Materials Develops Graphene Field Effect Transistors Testing Procedure; Shares Up 3%

MT Newswires Live07-23

Semiconductor company Archer Materials (ASX:AXE) developed a standard procedure for testing its graphene field effect transistors manufactured by its European suppliers to ensure they are functioning correctly before being used in sensors, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.

The test procedure studies the graphene field effect transistors under different conditions and under different electrical operation modes and allows the company to use new ways to detect substances using data analysis and machine learning, the filing said.

Experiments with US-based semiconductor companies to enhance sensing sensitivity are underway, according to the company.

Shares of the company rose over 3% in recent trade.
