** Top miners Newmont and Barrick Gold slip 3.4% and 3.8%, respectively

** U.S.-listed shares of South African miners Gold Fields

, Anglogold Ashanti , Sibanye Stillwater

and Harmony Gold drop between 1.9% and 4.8%

** Canadian miners Franco-Nevada , Agnico Eagle Mines and Kinross Gold are down between 1.1% and 3.9%
