MicroPort Scientific (HKG:0853) forecasts its net loss will decline 43% to 52% year over year to between $105 million and $125 million in the half-year ended June 30, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Adjusted net loss is seen to narrow 60% to 65% to between $65 million and $75 million, the filing said.

The lower loss is attributable to higher market share from the commercialization of its primary products and higher revenue, as well as improvements in profitability, the filing said.

Shares jumped 4% in Hong Kong on Friday afternoon.
