MW Disney+, Hulu, Max launch their new streaming bundle - at a 38% discount
By Mike Murphy
The new Disney+, Hulu and Max streaming bundle launched Thursday, offering a significant discount for subscribers.
The team-up from Walt Disney Co. $(DIS)$ and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) will offer the three-service bundle for $16.99 a month with ads and $29.99 a month without ads, a savings of up to 38% if the services were bought separately.
Currently, Hulu costs $7.99 a month with ads and $17.99 ad-free; Disney+ is $7.99 with ads and $13.99 with no ads; and Max is $9.99 with ads and $16.99 standard without ads, $20.99 a month for premium without ads. (Disney also offers a separate bundle for Disney+ and Hulu for $9.99 a month with ads, and $24.99 a month for Disney+ and Hulu without ads and ESPN+ with ads.)
New and existing subscribers can sign up for the package on any of the three services' websites.

The bundle combines popular brands such as ABC, CNN, DC, Discovery, Food Network, FX, HBO, HGTV, Marvel, Pixar and "Star Wars."
The deal was announced in early May, but a price was not disclosed then. At the time, J.B. Perrette, WBD's CEO of global streaming and games, said the new bundle "will help drive incremental subscribers and much stronger retention," calling it "a powerful new roadmap for the future of the industry."
Streaming services are looking to bundles to hang onto subscribers and avoid churn amid higher prices. In May, Comcast $(CMCSA)$ announced a bundle for Peacock, Netflix $(NFLX)$ and Apple TV+ $(AAPL)$, and Disney, Warner Bros. Discovery and Fox Corp. $(FOX)$ are planning a sports-focused streaming bundle as soon as this fall.
