** The lithium explorer recovers some losses, having declined about 59.3% after it suspended operations at a lithium carbonate production facility at its Rincon lithium project in Argentina on Wednesday

** Co still trading 37% below its closing level on Tuesday

** About 44 mln shares change hands on Friday, compared with the 30-day average volume of around 6 mln

** Stock trims YTD losses to 63.7%, including session's moves
