Archer Materials Develops Graphene Transistor Test for Consistent gFET Sensor Performance in Q2; Shares Jump 9%

Semiconductor company Archer Materials (ASX:AXE) created a graphene transistor test procedure in the second quarter to evaluate gFET sensor performance and maintain consistency over time by examining gFETs under various conditions and electrical modes, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

In the quarter ended June 30, the company also processed the first six-inch whole wafer for Archer's Biochip gFET at its Spain-based foundry partner along with advancing quantum device fabrication and performance testing by initiating ion-implantation experiments to control CNO size and arrangement, the filing said.

Shares of Archer Materials rose nearly 9% in recent trade.
