Starbucks operator Alsea may 'adjust' 2024 guidance -Visor

Reuters07-25

MEXICO CITY, July 24 (Reuters) - Fast-food chain operator Alsea on Wednesday warned it could adjust its guidance for 2024, due to a more challenging macro-economic environment and unfavorable foreign exchange, according to outlet Visor Financiero.

Alsea, which late on Tuesday posted a 68% dip in quarterly net profit, also warned in a call with analysts of a slowdown of business in Europe, Visor said, citing a boycott against Starbucks and other U.S. brands in response to U.S. military support of Israel's war in Gaza.
