Chongqing Hongjiu Fruit's (HKG:6689) chairman and controlling shareholder Deng Hongjiu pledged 13.2 million domestic shares as collateral to Bank of Chengdu's (SHA:601838) Chongqing Branch for 110 million yuan of banking facilities, a Thursday bourse filing said.
The pledged shares represent around 3.5% of the total shares held by Deng in the fruit company.
As of Thursday, the total number of domestic shares of the company pledged by Deng represents around 13% of its issued share capital.
Trading in the H shares of the company, which was halted March 20 remains suspended.
