Xinyi Energy's Profit Down 30% in H1

Xinyi Energy Holdings (HKG:3868) saw a 30% decline in attributable profit for the six months ended June 30 to HK$394.5 million from HK$566.9 million a year prior, a Wednesday filing on the Hong Kong bourse said.

Earnings per share stood at HK$0.0478 during the interim period, down from HK$0.0748 in fiscal H1 2023.

Revenue for the power company fell by 5.4% to HK$1.22 billion in fiscal H1 from HK$1.29 billion during the year-ago period.

The company has proposed an interim dividend of HK$0.023 for the six months ended June 30.

Shares of the company closed over 1% higher on Wednesday.
