JS Global Lifestyle (HKG:1691) expects a profit of at least $28.3 million from continuing operations for the six months ended June 30, at most 38.7% lower than the $46.2 million for the same period last year, a Monday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.
The company attributed the decrease in profit from continuing operations to an increase in overall administrative expenses, an increase in sales and marketing expenses for the expansion of the Asia Pacific market, market competition, and the company's flagship product not fully launched within the reporting period.
The company's shares were down 1.27% in recent trade.
