0922 GMT - Singapore Airlines appears to be reaching the end of a period of stellar earnings results, Ada Lim from the OCBC equity research team writes in a note. Passenger yields are moderating as competition increases in the region, with more airlines returning capacity to the market, Lim says. Given net profit for 1Q tumbled, the share price could see near-term volatility, but in the long term, the airline should be able to navigate from recovery to growth, given the quality and strength of the brand and its service, Lim adds. Due to slight downward revisions to earnings forecasts for fiscal 2025, OCBC maintains a hold rating but cuts its fair value estimate to S$6.81 from S$7.53. Shares are 5.3% lower at S$6.24.
