Singapore Institute of Advanced Medicine Expecting 'Significant' Net Loss in Fiscal 2024; Shares Plummet 19%

MT Newswires2024-08-01

Singapore Institute of Advanced Medicine (SGX:9G2) expects to post a "significant" net loss after tax for the year ended June 30, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Wednesday.

The group attributes its outlook to the slower-than-expected development and expansion of business operations, which may result in an impairment to its assets, the filing said.

The company is expected to release its financial figures on or before Aug. 29.

Shares of the healthcare company plunged over 19% in recent Thursday trade.
