Global Lithium Resources (ASX:GL1) confirmed an extension of a strike length of 600 meters at the Manna lithium project in Western Australia.
Reverse circulation drilling returned notable hits of 13 meters at 0.96% lithium oxide from 187 meters and 8 meters at 0.81% lithium oxide from 86 meters, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
"The extension expands the footprint of the mineralized pegmatites at Manna and highlights the discovery upside that still exists following more than 100,000 meters of drilling completed to date," said Logan barber, general manager of geology at the company.
Global Lithium Resources will analyze the results and provide an update on planning regarding the next drill program at Manna.
Shares of the company rose almost 4% in recent Thursday trade.
