Thakral Corp's Attributable Profit Zooms 45% in H1; Shares Down 3%

Thakral Corp's (SGX:AWI) attributable profit to equity holders in H1 was up 45% year-over-year to SG$10.8 million from SG$7.4 million, a filing with the Singapore Exchange said on Wednesday.

Earnings per share came in at SG$0.0845 per share compared with SG$0.0582 per share in the comparable period.

The company's revenue grew 23% year over year to SG$128.4 million from SG$104.2 million, driven by a rise in demand for lifestyle options from its GemLife business in Australia.

The group declared an interim dividend of SG$0.02 per share.

Shares of the company were down over 3% in recent trading.
