MT Newswires Live08-05

Ajisen (China) Holdings (HKG:0538) expects to record a maximum loss attributable to owners of 20 million yuan for the six months ended June 30 against a profit of 133.1 million yuan from the same period last year, a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

The restaurant operator attributed the turn-to loss to a decline in store traffic and a weak property market during the period.

The company's shares were down over 19% in recent trade.
