Kali Metals (ASX:KM1) found multiple spodumene occurrences at the Spargoville project in Western Australia based on an ongoing review of the historic drill core, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The drill core database indicates the pegmatite trends are numerous, of favourable thickness and potentially daylight towards the west of Westgold Resources' (ASX: WGX) Spargos Reward, the filing said. At least three pegmatites appear to have suitable true thickness of at least 10 meters, the filing added.
The review program is still ongoing and is only 51% complete.
Kali Metals said it will temporarily delay its phase-two drill program, and instead focus on reconnaissance and other activities during the next quarter.
The mineral explorer's shares were down nearly 4% in recent trade.
