Air France extended its suspension of flights connecting Paris with Lebanon's capital, Beirut, due to what the French carrier said was the security situation in the Middle Eastern country.
Flights to Beirut will be suspended through Sunday, Air France said, adding that the resumption of flights would depend on a new assessment of the local situation.
Air France had previously suspended flights through Thursday.
Flights to the country have been suspended since July 29 after a rocket attack on the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights further inflamed tensions along Israel's border with Lebanon, prompting fears of a wider conflict in the region.
