Amara Raja Energy & Mobility (NSE:ARE&M, BOM:500008) recorded an increase in its consolidated net profit to 2.49 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30 against 1.98 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share climbed to 13.61 rupees compared with 10.84 rupees, according to a Saturday filing to the stock exchanges by the battery manufacturer.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q1 also rose to 32.63 billion rupees from 27.96 billion rupees a year earlier.
