Win Hanverky Holdings (HKG:3322) expects an after-tax loss of around HK$85 million for the six months ended June 30, down from HK$177 million a year prior, an Aug. 9 bourse filing said.
The garment manufacturer attributed the anticipated decline in loss mainly to the swing to an operating profit from its sportswear manufacturing business, as well as the absence of loss from the discontinued operations of fashion brand Champion.
The firm's revenue from the sportswear and high-end functional outerwear manufacturing business wings rose by 27% and 18% respectively to HK$1.22 billion and HK$260 million, respectively.
Revenue from the high-end fashion retailing business, on the other hand, fell by 10% to HK$281 million.
