Hong Leong's Attributable Profit Climbs 13% in H1

Hong Leong Financial (SGX:S41) profit attributable to owners in H1 was up nearly 13% year over year to SG$52.6 million from SG$46.6 million, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Thursday.

Earnings per share came in at SG$0.2343 compared with SG$0.2077 in the comparable period.

Net interest income was up 11% year over year to SG$112.7 million from SG$101.5 million, thanks to improved asset yields.

The directors declared an interim dividend of SG$0.0375 per share for the financial year 2024.

Hong Leong Financial shares were up 1% in recent trade.
