Air France extended its suspension of flights to Lebanon's capital Beirut due to security reasons amid concerns of a wider war in the Middle East.
Flights connecting Paris to the city will be suspended through Wednesday, the French carrier said. Its flights to Beirut have been suspended since July 29.
The resumption of flights is subject to a further assessment of the situation, the company said, adding that it is monitoring developments in real time.
Air France had previously suspended flights to Beirut through Aug. 11.
Air France is among several European airlines to have adjusted flight schedules to the Middle East amid concerns that tensions between Israel and Hezbollah along Lebanon's southern border and Israel's conflict with Hamas could spill over into a wider regional conflict.
