Playoff Showings From Knicks, Rangers Will Raise Ticket Prices -- Market Talk

Dow Jones08-14

1405 ET - Post-season runs by the New York Knicks and New York Rangers buoyed Madison Square Garden Sports' bottom line in its fiscal F4Q, and the lift is expected to carry over into the current fiscal year. Approximately 94% of the teams' combined season ticket holders renewed their packages, COO Jamaal Lesane says on a call with analysts. The franchise owner won't increase season ticket prices for renewing package holders but will "opportunistically price new season ticket packages, as well as individual and group tickets," he says. "Putting it all together, we believe we have the opportunity to drive modest ticket revenue growth in fiscal 2025." (connor.hart@wsj.com; @connorhart22)
