Tsaker New Energy Tech's Attributable Profit Plummets by More Than Half in H1

Tsaker New Energy Tech's (HKG:1986) attributable profit plunged to 15.6 million yuan in the first half from 32.9 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share at the dye and agricultural chemical intermediate manufacturer decreased to 0.02 yuan from 0.03 yuan in the previous year.

Revenue grew to 1.01 billion yuan from 996.4 million yuan a year earlier.

The company declared an interim dividend of 0.005 yuan per share and a special dividend of 0.025 yuan per share, both payable Nov. 26 to shareholders on record as of Sept. 6.

Shares closed 10% higher on Wednesday.
