Bukit Sembawang Estates Reports Cybersecurity Incident

Bukit Sembawang Estates (SGX:B61) has disclosed a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to its IT servers, according to a Tuesday filing on the Singapore Exchange.

The breach, detected on Aug 9, led to blocking data access on affected servers.

The company responded by shutting down all IT servers over the National Day weekend to mitigate further risk and initiated an impact assessment.

Bukit Sembawang Estates has reported the breach to the Singapore Police Force and the Personal Data Protection Commission and has engaged a third-party forensic advisor to investigate and improve cybersecurity measures.

Initial assessments indicate that the incident has not materially affected current business operations.
