EQ Resources (ASX:EQR) is moving the Mt Carbine mine in Queensland to an owner-operator model following 14 months of mining activity with a contractor, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The miner expects the transition to provide operational cost savings, with key staff retained and new and leased equipment already on site, the filing stated.
