Air France resumed flights to Lebanon on Thursday after a suspension of more than two weeks due to security concerns.
The French national carrier suspended its flights between Paris and Beirut from July 29 amid a spike in tensions in the Middle East and fears of a wider regional conflict involving Israel, Iran, Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza.
The airline will use an Airbus A350 plane on the route on Friday and Saturday instead of the usual smaller A330 model to cater for demand, a spokesman said.
Air France is monitoring the security situation in Middle East and its operations remain subject to a daily assessment, the company said.
