A consortium led by CK Infrastructure Holdings (HKG:1038) and CK Asset Holdings (HKG:1113) purchased 32 onshore wind farms in the UK from Aviva Investors for 350 million pounds sterling, the South China Morning Post reported Wednesday.
The wind farms, located across England, Scotland, and Wales, have an installed capacity of 175 megawatts.
Both CK Infrastructure and CK Asset Holdings, owned by Li Ka-shing, will hold 40% each of the consortium and Power Asset Holdings, another company led by Li, will hold the remaining 20%.
The transaction is seen to be completed in late September, the SCMP said.
