Serve Robotics (SERV) said Wednesday it is collaborating with Shake Shack (SHAK) to deliver orders made through Uber Technologies' (UBER) Uber Eats via its sidewalk delivery robots.
The automated deliveries will begin at certain Shake Shack restaurants in Los Angeles as part of Serve's commitment to deploy up to 2,000 AI-powered sidewalk delivery robots on the Uber platform across the US in 2025, the company said.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Serve shares were more than 26% higher in recent premarket trading.
