Canadian Solar Infrastructure Fund (TYO:9284) is acquiring and leasing a solar energy project in Sakura-shi, Chiba for 321 million yen, according to its filing on Friday.
The project will be acquired from Saturn Infra Fund and Infra Land Lease, with the purchase agreements set for Aug. 16, and acquisition anticipated on Aug. 30.
The lessee is a related party under the Asset Manager's rules but not under the Act on Investment Trusts and Investment Corporations (ITA).
This acquisition aims to diversify CSIF's portfolio and aligns with its asset management targets and policies.
