Torque Metals (ASX:TOR) completed a 1,106-meter diamond drill program at its flagship Paris gold project in West Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program targeted five holes at the Paris and HHH prospects. It was designed to infill and extend high-grade mineralization, as well as obtain structural, geotechnical, and density information to enhance and inform Torque's maiden mineral resource estimate, the filing said. Assay results are expected later this month.
The mineral explorer is now preparing for a 7,000-meter reverse circulation drill program, the filing said.
The company's shares fell almost 5% in recent Tuesday trade.
